I was the second child in a family of eight children. Out of necessity, I had to work hard on my father’s farm in Idaho and I learned to like working. After high school, I attended Brigham Young University, (BYU), and received a bachelor’s degree and was hired by Provo School District to teach at Timpanogos Elementary School where I taught for 30 years. While teaching, I attended night and summer school at BYU and received a master’s degree. While teaching, I also worked for a building contractor as a carpenters assistant and learned many helpful things about how homes are built. After I retired from teaching, I attended real estate school and UVU. I received my Utah real estate license and a Novell CNA along with a COMPTIA hardware /software computer certification. In 1996, I joined CENTURY 21 Bushnell as a real estate agent and have been there ever since, (nearly 20 years). I enjoy working for a company that insists that their agents know what they are doing and doesn’t put up with any monkey business. I became a real estate agent to help people with their most important asset, second only to their kids. I get warm feelings when I think of the near miracles that I have helped happen for some families with special housing needs. My wife and I have three children and four grandchildren. I enjoy fishing, fly tying, studying nature, science, Scandinavian family history research with my wife, and listening to classical music. Reading and studying also play large pali of my life. I take lots of real estate classes to stay up on changes in the real estate business so that I can do a great job of serving my clients well.
